Jun.-Prof. Dr. Anca Balietti

Prof. Dr. Anca Balietti is a Heidelberg University Junior Professor at the department of Environmental Economics since December 2018. She holds a Master of Science in Finance of the University of Lausanne and a PhD in Economics from Zurich University. Most recently, before coming to Heidelberg, she was working as a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University. Her research interest lies in the fields of environmental economics, development economics, health and climate change economics and the economics of growth and green growth.

In the Climate Action Science project, she is primarily dedicated to understanding the impacts of air pollution and related environmental regulation on the health and behavioral responses of individuals, as well as the strategic reactions of firms and constituencies.
