Dr. Sven Lautenbach

Dr. Sven Lautenbach is a senior scientist at the HeiGIT at Heidelberg University. He closely cooperates with the GIScience Research Group at Heidelberg University. Dr. Lautenbach studied Geography at Heidelberg University and Applied System Science at the University of Osnabrück. Besides working as Adjunct Faculty for the George Maxon University, Fairfax, VA, USA, Dr. Lautenbach was an Assistant Professor for land use modelling and ecosystem services at the Agricultural Faculty of the University of Bonn, before coming to Heidelberg. Some of the research interests of Dr. Lautenbach are volunteered geographic information, health geography, ecosystem services, environmental modeling and spatial data analysis.
